On this day, 75 years ago, 11th June 1949, The Brunswick Club was officially opened by His Royal Highness, Prince Philip.
Founded by British Prisoners of War held in Oflag 79, a prisoner of war camp near Brunswick, Germany, the Club was intended to be a memorial to the comradeship these men shared in their captivity and a living memorial to those of their friends who had fallen.
And how successful it has been. The strong values and traditions of these brave men have created a Club that thrives to the present day. 75 years and still going strong!!!

U9 Football Trials(School Year 4)
The Brunswick Club are having football trials for players in School Year 4. The purpose of these sessions is to see if we can get a committed group of players first to compete in summer tournaments in June & July (listed below) and then to enter the London County Saturday Youth Football League for the 2024/2025 season.
The training is open to anyone in school year 4, although year 3 players can attend as well. You will need to be enthusiastic, committed, and reliable. Most importantly, you must have a good character. Attitude is just as important as ability.
We DO NOT want babies, moaners, or sulkers.That includes the parents as well!!!

CongratulationsTo our U11s for their great performances in the ESF Football tournament at Bognor Regis. Their attitude, character, and team spirit shone through as they topped their group, winning 5 out of 5 games, conceding just one goal, and making it all the way to the final, where they narrowly missed out and finished runners up. Great achievement boys. Remember, the weekend lasted 72 hours, but the memories will last a lifetime! I hope they were happy ones for you all. Brunswick 4 Life, Friends Forever.
